TEN YEARS ON--

It's 13 of Feb. and its been a while,
since on words I went wild.
13th of Feb. just has its own way,
of bringing out what I carry around every day.
13th of Feb, has me with this pen and paper,
just letting it all out onto this paper.
13th of Feb, so we meet again
but unlike the other meetings, I aint got no pain.

'Tell you what, 13th of Feb,
Ten years ön-
I stand ströng and bold.
Ten years on-
I fear not even the cold.
Ten years on-
I am in God's fold.

Ten years ago, I was robbed.
Whom I was robbed and the timing wasn't dope.
Ten years ago, she left us.
To date, not even a day, without her in my mind, would pass.
Ten years ago, the devil thought he'd won.
But in a flash God came in and He became the Don.
Because that Ten years ago, I was left motherless.
but with God the Don, nothing went a mess.

its Ten years on-
and I stand strong and bold
Ten years on-
I fear not even the cold.
Ten years on-
I am in God's fold.

Mama, Ten years on, I'm almost done with 8.4.4.
Back then Kemboi was just out of class four.
Next year Tyson will be joining Form 4.
And 10 years on Prof. (arap Sogome) is starting his 2nd half of 8.4.4.
Jelimo is in Form two, Ten years on na ati anajiita C- Jay.
Kibiwot is graduating mid-this year and we expecting great things from him some day.

'no-wonder I repeat, 13th of Feb.

Lastly, Thank you God for our mama.
I read Isaiah 55: 8 - 11 and I'm without a murmur.
